Kim Brimer to Voters: I Rent to Own, You Pay My Loan

Whether it is using campaign contributor money to buy a luxury condo that he later sells at a profit, filing a law suit to avoid an election opponent and the judgment of voters, or skipping out on a personal loan and leaving taxpayers with the debt, Republican State Senator Kim Brimer has certainly earned the nickname, “the Real Kim Shady.” Brimer has spent 20 years in the Texas Legislature, and failed to deliver much in the way of legislation or job creating projects for his Tarrant County constituents. Brimer has, however, won recognition as an expert on finding ethics loopholes and cutting deals to enrich himself and his friends.

In an effort to inform voters of the facts behind Kim Brimer’s record, the Lone Star Project has built “The Real Kim Shady” page. The page contains factual reports produced from Lone Star Project detailed research, news reports covering Kim Brimer’s activities and information from other organizations who can back up their claims with facts and citations.
