Resale or disclosure of information to third parties:
Occasionally, the Lone Star Project may share contact information from its database with other groups or organizations that we identify as having allied goals.
For donors: If you contribute to either the Lone Star Fundor our supported candidates, federal law requires us to use best efforts to collect the name, mailing address, occupation and name of employer individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year. This information must be reported to the Federal Election Commission (FEC) and is made available by the FEC to the public. However, it is against the law for organizations to use individual contributor information gathered from FEC reports for fundraising or commercial purposes. For donations made to candidates through Lone Star Fund, we will share your contact information with that candidates' campaign organization for reporting purposes and for other uses as the campaign may decide.
